Our headsets are designed for personal, long-term use with a zero-consumable philosophy. Each headset is delivered with 9 reusable sponges. A single sponge lasts for 90+ sessions if treated correctly, meaning the initial set should be sufficient for the lifespan of the device for one user. If your sponges begin to wear out or discolour, you can order replacement sponges here.

Sponge quality and material is a crucial part of ensuring good and safe neurostimulation, and we therefore do not recommend using other sponges than the ones provided by PlatoScience.
Please note that selling sponges is not an income stream for PlatoScience - we sell the replacement sponges at cost. High quality sponges are not cheap, and the sponges delivered with the headset are meant to last the normal life cycle of a headset.
